Help!! Hit with green laser pointer in eye! I don\’t know what to do!!?

On Monday I was hit with a green laser pointer in my left eye from a very close range(probably 1-2feet away) It was only for about a second of exposure.

Im not exactly sure but my eye seems to be more blurry than normal. It may be that I am just imagining it but I need someone elses opinion on this!
I happened to have the same laser pointer so I know some of the specifications

Max output power- <30mW
Wavelength- 532nm(+-)10
Class III laser product
The product complies with 21 CFR (what does this mean?)

I bought this for about 30$ so its not a really expensive model.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!

What’s the most powerful laser you can get that doesn’t have a visible beam at night?

What\’s the most powerful laser you can get that doesn\’t have a visible beam at night?

I want to mess around with people without them knowing where its coming from. I saw a reasonable priced 50mw green laser but I read that the beam is visible…so what kind of laser isn’t visible?

What is the best glass to use for viewing purposes in a lab?

What is the best glass to use for viewing purposes in a lab?

I have a choice between Borosilicate glass and Quartz glass.

I have an inverted microscope and I will view all of my experiments through the glass.
I need to know which glass is better to view through if we are using luminescence microscopy
(green laser) to illuminate things dyed in TXRED dye.

(I hope someone knows what I am talking about.)

How much trouble is he in?

My friend was sneaking in golf course at like 1 in the morning and he had a laser pointer. He shined the laser into people’s houses, and one guy called the cops. They found him. How much trouble is he in?

Difference between Green and Blue light?

In physics what is the difference between blue and green laser light. Like if you were to shine them through a double slit would there be a difference between the patterns you see depending on the color?

Does my short story have any hope of becoming a manga series?

Does my short story have any hope of becoming a manga series?

To the reader: Characters and events are based on real experiences.

Beep-beep! Beep-beep! … Weltschmerz! 5:30 a.m. flashed laser-green before my drowsy, rheum-ridden eyes. My body screamed fatigue, yet I miraculously managed to force myself out of bed. After a brief bathroom sojourn, I stumbled down the stairs in pitch black. I made short work of breakfast, packed my lunch, grabbed my gear, and dashed out the door, just barely catching the bus.

Through this bleak and barren morning, the vehicle humbly approached the rising Sun of the east. As I sat there, gazing out the window, warm rays of light massaged the microscopic hairs of my bored and languid-looking face. Dawn. The most beautiful panorama observable from anywhere on the planet. Too bad not everyone is willing to make the sacrifice to see it.

I penetrated a vacant music room. Music, my love. I loved it as a child. I loved it at the time. I will love it in a hundred years, whether I end up in heaven or over nine thousand leagues in the opposite direction. Alone, the voice of my flute waltzed with the ambient silence. As the Sun approached its zenith, musicians populated the room at an exponential rate. Once all seats were occupied, the conductor raised his baton and the sound of music invigorated the air.

There exists a popular belief that physics is the most challenging of all sciences, yet it remains the most fundamental. It engenders fear among thousands with its mathematics and its shitload of equations. I was one of those few physics enthusiasts who acknowledged its diverse real-world applications. I cherished the opportunity to stand on the shoulder of giants: Sir Isaac Newton, Galileo Galilei, Johannes Kepler, and Albert Einstein.

The topic of the day was kinematics, the study of motion or rather the description of motion using mathematical models. As Mr. K rambled to the class, I sat in the far right corner, at the back of the room, anxiously waiting to pounce on the next question to be fired away. When the lecture drew to a close, the surviving minutes of the period became allocated to seatwork: solving physics problems from the teacher’s handouts, from the chalkboard, and additional ones from our big fat textbook. I had worked ahead, so I was done in no time. Bored, I scanned the class to see how my fellow students were fairing. Some were working away industriously; others were chatting away incessantly. Then I noticed the girl to my left who seemed to be struggling. I approached her to offer my assistance, which she gladly accepted. It was a relief, considering the number of times my help had been rejected. She shifted her desk such that it gently kissed my own. As I explained the concepts and strategies, something tickled my heart. Boy, she was pretty … but that wasn’t it. It infiltrated me profoundly when I observed that she was sincerely interested in learning. I had always carried the fervent belief that I was the only one who enjoyed physics. She left me with that satisfied feeling all teachers experienced upon realizing that their students finally got it.

Henceforth, my boredom level skyrocketed. I spent my lunch hour deep in the bowels of the antediluvian, medieval-château-like high school collegiate institute. I engaged myself in epic chess battles with the few members of the club: the Knights of the Round Table. Unfortunately, all the tables in our dungeon were square, except for the Dilapidated Pactogonal Table. As the head of the chess club, I felt crummy with all the other members being freshman. We would receive rare one-time visits from bored, wandering, or lost souls, but the room’s population never exceeded half a dozen.
Lala: Keep your opinion to yourself! My questions are all perfectly valid. If you don’t like my questions, then just ignore them.

What do you call those green laser pointers used in stargazing called?

I went to a museum and stayed around 9 o’clock. These volunteers started pulling them out to help everyone see where and which star they are pointing at, so the crowd can come up to telescopes and know what they are looking at. Please help me identify the item, I might get it…
Thank you!

5mw green laser outside use question?

I’m thinking of buying a 5mw green laser from dealextreme (I don’t want a very powerful laser), and I’m wondering, can I use it for around 10-15 minutes outside when its around 0 degrees celcius without damaging it?

Is it legal to buy a laser pointer greater than 5mW in Canada?

by Mark on May.14, 2010, under Green Laser

Is it legal to buy a laser pointer greater than 5mW in Canada?

Alright, I was going to buy a 200mW green laser pen from www.dealextreme.com just recently but I found out that any laser pointer greater than 5mW is illegal to buy in the USA.

So, I was wondering if I could buy one in another country? Lets say.. Canada or Mexico?
